Experience

My mom taught music at the elementary school level for 35 years, and her sister taught preschool. My educational background was very formative. I have a masters degree in special education, and I've taught Spanish as a student teacher. I have a lot of tutoring experience, and I enjoy helping students with reading, writing, algebra, history, biology, chemistry, psychology, English, Italian, Spanish, earth sciences, elementary school math, French, GED prep, psychology, middle school math, zoology, and many others. I've had the opportunity to work with students with special needs, as well as ESL students. In my free time, I like to sing karaoke, play trivia, play the piano, do crossword puzzles, hike, play beach volleyball, go to hockey games, attend Civil War reenactments, and travel.
